1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner

One of only a handful of Fairlane 500 F-codes known to exist!

Work on this rare Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner began in 2018. It has undergone a complete frame-off restoration with thousands of hours spent perfecting every last detail and sourcing rare parts from across the nation. F-codes can be identified by a VIN number that begins with the letter F.

F-Code also refers to the 312 cu. in. V-8 engine with a four-barrel carburetor and McCulloch-Paxton supercharger. These engines were built to NASCAR specifications and were a very limited, one-year only option. While written reports vary, less than 100 of these engines are believed to have been made and less than 25 remain to this day.

Assembled with a 2-speed Ford-O-Matic transmission, coil-spring independent front suspension, live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs, and four-wheel drum brakes. This car is a cruiser with plenty of power in reserve to catapult it into heavy traffic.
