Pristine Honduras Maroon Biscayne with Fawn interior. Older frame-off re-creation of an unbeaten street racer purchased new in 1962 by the owner of this iconic car. The best of the best– 409 ci (.030 over), balanced, two Carter AFBs, Lunatti cam, Doug Thorley headers, T-10 4 speed, 4.56 posi, factory tach, heater and radio deletes. The car was an AACA Grand National first-place winner. It was featured in a national magazine and appears in a coffee table book, Roadside America.

This sleeper is the embodiment of the glory days of racing for Chevrolet- when 409 bubble-top Bel Airs dominated the drag strips and 409 Biscaynes ruled the streets. The meticulous re-creation began with a low mileage, rust-free California car.
